Lightbulb Target: Closest Minion (N)

Iv always disliked how these days, "Minion Bombers" can only be handled by Hero's or other NPC's.
I honestly think that AreaNet should implement a very small thingy where, since the only way to target a minion is to wince your eyes closed, look between all the enemies, flashy moves and gore then click on it, I believe that they should make it so, when you click on the minion box in your top left corner (i.e. "I am controlling 7 minions" ect) it should auto target your closest minion with the lowest HP! This would be great for all Necro's since it means you can select them for healing or bombing!
-I'd like to begin the Revolution! Bring Minion Bombers back to the people! Not the NPC's!-
I can't really see how this would be massively overpowered and it would be a nice little addon, helping any type of MM manage his "flock" , Tehee, So what are other peoples views?
Thanks for taking the time to read !

Oh and,
p.s. if worst comes to worst and that wont be implemented, at least a new Elite skill;

Death Magic.
Aura of Death [Elite]
En10 Ca3 Re60

Elite Enchantment. All nearby minions and ally’s gain “Aura of Death”, for 30seconds whenever target ally dies, all adjacent foes take 19-75 damage and suffer from Poisoned for 10 seconds. For each Minion under your control this spell costs an extra 2 Energy. (50% failure chance with Death Magic 4 or less, per ally)

Basically a mass Death Nova effect like in The Dragon's Lair (Facet of Darkness area). The energy cost seems fair, much like 'Blood of the Masters' and other Necro spells it costs more for each minion you have, the Enchant is cast on all minions, ally’s and yourself. To stop people from abusing it (for each person the spell will be cast on) it has a 50% failure chance (i.e. it could be cast on some, fail on others) aswell as a healthy Cooldown time.
Please post any views about ether 2 of the above ^^ Thankies!
Love Pinky -xXx-

i like that target closest minion. taste of death was useless to me whenever i played a MM, cause i could never find a minion in time. i think that it would better if it targeted the minion with the lowest hp and not the closest.

the skill sounds pretty good too. the recharge is more than enough to not make it over powered.

Id imagen it to be much like the "maintain"ing enchant bar-line

This would be perfect, specially combined with my a key to select 'next of the same party'.

That way, you could select next lowest HP minion, and then, by hitting tab, you cycle throught them, from lower to higher HP.

And select pets, and cycle tham, and select enemies of each party in HoH, and cycle them, and select one alliy or parry member, and cycle throught them with Tab...

Currenlty is hell of a trouble to keep track effectively of your minions, and killing first the older ones is too much annoying.

If we get the choice of finding a minion with the lowest hp by the press of a button then we should be able to make our own macros, which is an entirely new subject in its own.

Now that id like.. was one of the pluses from WoW making your own macro's, but not anything to do with chain commands, since then it'd make it possible to spam spells ect, not fun

I fully aggree with these ideas. I most use auto target when in combat. I have my Tab key set to target nearest and Caps key to target next. I use the mouse to target only when I need something specific (monk per se). A click to target minion nearest the enemy would really help on the minion targeting skills for which I currently have no use.

I'd love an option of a minion menu just like the party menu which is available on the click of the icon which tells the number of minion being kept/or some key (like the 'n' key been suggested).

Yeah. It's pretty clear there's a serious fundamental problem with the interface when certain skills (Jagged Bones, for example) are essentially useless on a human player, but godly on Olias and Master of Whispers.
